From drop-off to airworthy

How aircraft maintenance
actually goes here.

No mystery, no waiting on hold for a status update. Five steps from the call you make to the airplane you fly home.

  1. You open a work order.

Call (941) 375-9727 or use the form below. Tell us the aircraft, the field, and the squawks. We quote scope and a target window before you fly the airplane in.

  2. Drop-off at the hangar that fits you.

Fly in to KDED, KVNC, or KSFB, or have us meet you on the ramp with a mobile vehicle. We greet your airplane the way we would greet our own.

  3. Photo updates while it is in the shop.

Daily progress notes and pictures, sent to your phone. If we find something on the way in, you hear about it before we touch a wrench.

  4. Honest squawk sheet. Plain logbook entries.

A written squawk list, what we fixed and what we left for next time. Clean logbook entries, written so they still make sense in three years.

  5. Signed off to airworthy.

FAA A&P with Inspection Authorization. Pickup paperwork in your hand. Fly it home and call us if anything feels off.

Frequently asked

Questions every owner asks
before they call us.

The honest answers. If yours is not here, call (941) 375-9727 and we will answer it on the spot.

How do I get a quote on an aircraft annual inspection in Florida?

Call (941) 375-9727 or open a work order at the bottom of this page. Tell us the aircraft make, model, N-number, and any known squawks. We quote scope and a target turnaround before you fly the airplane in.

What is your typical annual inspection turnaround?

For a piston aircraft with no major squawks, plan on one to two weeks in the shop, parts permitting. Squawks found during inspection or a wait on parts can extend that, and we will tell you as we go. Bigger campaigns get a written schedule before we open the cowl.

Are you really an authorized Robinson Service Center?

Yes. Open robinsonheli.com and look us up in the Service Center directory. We are authorized on the R44, and we maintain other helicopters too. Scheduled inspections, component overhauls, OEM-spec parts, done to Robinson's published standards.

Do you handle aircraft on ground (AOG) calls?

Yes. 24/7. Call (941) 661-7865. We quote a callout fee on the phone before we dispatch. Our mobile units run out of our hangars across the Southeast (KDED, KVNC, KSFB) and meet you on the ramp.

What kinds of aircraft do you work on?

Piston aircraft, singles and light twins, are the bulk of our work, plus Robinson helicopters as an authorized service center and the GB1 GameBird as a Game Aerospace service center. We handle turboprops and coordinate specialist work too. Tell us what you fly and we will tell you how we can help.

Do you do pre-buy inspections in Florida?

Yes, and we run it as deep as an annual. Logbook deep-dive, AD compliance audit, paint and corrosion review, optional test flight. You leave with a straight written report so you know exactly what you are buying.

Where are your aircraft maintenance hangars?

KDED (DeLand Municipal Airport), KVNC (Venice Municipal Airport), and KSFB (Orlando Sanford International), with mobile units across the Southeast.
